Resort collections are so fun and this year they are loaded with different types of retro look prints, the kinds that remind you of your beautiful and happy childhood. Hello FI readers, welcome back!
While this gorgeous one heck of a dress in a signature FP fit and flare silhouette is not a wardrobe essential in the form of a little black dress, it is definitely perfect for any occasion and will make you stand out in any crowd. Pulled together and chic with just a little help from a wide waist band, and looks even chicer (is that even a word? LOL) with accent black gloves and gold/coral jewelry. The skater bottom makes for more drama, and this designer is well known for drama and extreme decadence. Fausto Puglisi, fastest moving not so new designer out of Milan, second only to only Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad and a handful of others in my book, this guy has got vision and I can’t get enough. It's still my birthday month world and I'm still in a Fausto Puglisi kinda mood. Oh and did I mention that I have finally picked up my jaw from his over the top showmanship at the Milano Fashion week? Yes I have, lol.
I couldn’t be more into the longline slouchy and knee length trend which is why I was attracted to this coat. It also has volume which made for a good balance with this chic outfit. So cozy, so chic. More for looks than for warmth though. Darling! Hehe...
Just like water seeps through the ceiling, orange is making it’s way into my closet, at lightening fast speeds too, shame on me. But who’s complaining? Are you? I didn’t think so. Definitely not me.
That makeup! I know, that look! I did it again. I got so many compliments the first time I wore it for my birthday post (here). Since then I’ve done it a few more times with very mild tweaks here and there. The differences are very subtle and hardly noticeable. I think this is it tho cos that jewel tone glitter is all gone. I’m completely out of it, for now. But dude, I had fun with it. I think it was ridiculously gorgeous but just like fashion, its on to the next look. Some matte look maybe, no shimmer no glitter. I’ll see what I’m in the mood for next time I photograph. Any look in particular you want to see? DM me an image on iG. @Fashionably_Idu and I’ll break out my makeup cubes and try to have fun recreating it. Like I say my makeup is sometimes the difference between 'dressed up' and 'DRESSED UP' for me, LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic week ahead fashion lovers.
